Sh Vishal Kaundal

Born on 19th January, 1983, in a revered family of District Mandi in Himachal Pradesh to an educationist mother and a dedicated public servant father. Did his Matriculation from D.A.V. Public School, Bilaspur, H.P. in the year 1998 followed by Higher Secondary from Himachal Board of School Education in the year 2000. Thereafter, in the year 2003, completed his Graduation from Government Vallabh Post Graduate Degree College, District-Mandi, H.P. In the year 2006, pursued LL.B from the illustrious Faculty of Law, Delhi University (North Campus) and subsequently in the year 2007 got enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. The quest for knowledge led him to his LL.M from Kurukshetra University in the year 2012. He has also been awarded UGC-JRF (Law) Award and has qualified UGC-NET (Law) in June, 2012.
There on qualified the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Services Examination, 2012 and was inducted for training programme in Himachal Pradesh Judicial Academy, Shimla on 19th January, 2013.
On 27th August 2013, assumed the post of Civil Judge (Jr. Division)-cum-Judicial Magistrate in Court No. VII, Shimla. Thereafter, on transfer joined the Sub-Division Arki, District-Solan as Civil Judge (Jr. Division)-cum-Judicial Magistrate 1st Class on 25.04.2014 till 10.03.2018 and on subsequent transfer joined as such in Sub-Division Indora, District-Kangra on 12.03.2018 in Court No. IV Shimla on 29.12.2018 and in Court No. III Shimla on 10.01.2019 till 04.08.2021. Thereafter, on transfer joined as Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate First Class, Chamba on 16.08.2021 till 10.12.2021 and had also worked as Principal Magistrate (Juvenile Justice Board). On promotion in the cadre of Senior Civil Judge, joined as Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Chamba, H.P. w.e.f 10.12.2021 (FN) to 12.04.2024(AN). Thereafter, on transfer joined as Senior Civil Judge-cum-ACJM, Court No. 1, Una on 18.04.2024(FN).
